Amanda D. Wilcox, M.D.

Dr. Amanda Wilcox completed her training in 2011 at Baptist Health Family Medicine Residency Program. Since then she has been practicing in the River Region area. She attended St. George’s School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies and her undergraduate work was at Lee University in Cleveland, TN, where she received the presidential scholarship.

Dr. Wilcox is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Wilcox is a member of American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Wilcox’s heart is to strive for quality patient care.

 

Ashley Adams, CRNP

Ashley completed her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2008 from University of South Alabama. Before that she was a Registered Nurse. She graduated from Jacksonville State University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2000 and started practicing as a nurse in 2001. Since 2008 she has worked for Alabama Liver and Digestive Specialists, Wetumpka Pediatrics, Medical Outreach Ministries and United Healthcare as a CRNP. Ashley is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. She participates in many volunteer activities in the community and enjoys giving back to others. 

 

Leslie Harvey, CRNP

Leslie completed her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2017 from Troy University. Before that she was a Registered Nurse. She graduated from University of Alabama with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2003 and started practicing as an RN that same year. Since 2017 she has worked for Neurology Care Center, Jackson Hospital Emergency Department and Main Street Urgent Care as a CRNP. Leslie is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. 

 

Craig Nixon, Medical Assistant

A native of Deatsville, Alabama, Craig served in the Navy for seven years as a Hospital Corpsman before moving to Georgia to work in a Geriatric/Family Practice physician office. Craig later moved back to Alabama where he worked for Medical Outreach Ministries and Baptist Health as a Medical Assistant. Craig has worked with Dr. Amanda Wilcox for over ten years.

 


Cindy Norris, Medical Assistant

Cindy graduated from Bellaire High School in Bellaire, Ohio and attended Belmont Technical College in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Cindy earned a Diploma in Medical Assisting Technologies from Trenholm State Technical College in Montgomery, AL, where she graduated with honors. She has been working as a Medical Assistant for 33 years in various specialties in the Medical Field. Cindy  is a National Certified Medical Assistant. Cindy enjoys patient care and helping others in any way possible.

 

Greg Brown, LPN 

Greg graduated from Decatur High school in Decatur Alabama and later graduated from Calhoun Community College as an LPN in 2009. He has worked in several disciplines in the medical field for the last fifteen years or more. Greg’s faith led him to Prattville in 2014 and has been an employee of Remnant Medicine since 2021. 

 

Addie Wilcox, Office Manager 

Addie Graduated from the University of South Alabama in May of 2021 with a Bachelors in Business Administration and concentration in Human Resources. After graduating, Addie spent a month in Guatemala interning with a nonprofit organization called AVIS who are focussed on supporting their community through proving better heath and awareness. Addie has worked part time for Remnant Medicine since 2015, She has just recently taken the position as Office Manager in November of 2021. Addie enjoys working in the medical field and strives to work hard and be a blessing to others every day.
