Amanda D. Wilcox, M.D.

Dr. Amanda Wilcox completed her training in 2011 at Baptist Health Family Medicine Residency Program. Since then she has been practicing in the River Region area. She attended St. George’s School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies and her undergraduate work was at Lee University in Cleveland, TN, where she received the presidential scholarship.

Dr. Wilcox is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Wilcox is a member of American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Wilcox’s heart is to strive for quality patient care.

 

Leslie Harvey, CRNP

Leslie completed her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2017 from Troy University. Before that she was a Registered Nurse. She graduated from University of Alabama with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2003 and started practicing as an RN that same year. Since 2017 she has worked for Neurology Care Center, Jackson Hospital Emergency Department and Main Street Urgent Care as a CRNP. Leslie is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. 

 

Craig Nixon, Medical Assistant

A native of Deatsville, Alabama, Craig served in the Navy for seven years as a Hospital Corpsman before moving to Georgia to work in a Geriatric/Family Practice physician office. Craig later moved back to Alabama where he worked for Medical Outreach Ministries and Baptist Health as a Medical Assistant. Craig has worked with Dr. Amanda Wilcox for over ten years.

 

 

Addie Wilcox, Office Manager 

Addie Graduated from the University of South Alabama in May of 2021 with a Bachelors in Business Administration and concentration in Human Resources. After graduating, Addie spent a month in Guatemala interning with a nonprofit organization called AVIS who are focussed on supporting their community through proving better heath and awareness. Addie has worked part time for Remnant Medicine since 2015, She has just recently taken the position as Office Manager in November of 2021. Addie enjoys working in the medical field and strives to work hard and be a blessing to others every day.
